Policies & Waiver

To help keep our space safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone, please review the following policies before your visit.

Open Play

General Information 

Open play may be booked via reservation or walk in 

Capacity will be limited to ensure safety, comfort, and compliance with occupancy regulations 

The Play Place reserves the right to limit or pause entry during high-capacity periods

 

RULES 

Supervision 

Parents/guardians must remain on-site at all times 

Children must be actively supervised at all times 

The Play Place is not a drop-off facility 

Staff are present for general oversight, not individual supervision 

  

Safety 

Shoes may be removed, but socks must be worn in the play area 

No running, rough play, or unsafe behavior 

Equipment must be used as intended and in a safe manner 

Food and drinks are only permitted in the Café area 

Toys must stay in the play area 

  

Health and Cleanliness 

Children showing signs of illness (fever, vomiting, contagious conditions, etc.) are not permitted to play 

Caregivers are responsible for diapering and bathroom assistance 

Please report any spills or accidents to staff immediately 

  

Respect and Behavior 

Kind and respectful behavior is expected from all guests 

Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal without refund 

The Play Place is a shared community space—please help us keep it safe and welcoming 

  

Infant Area  

Designated infant areas are reserved for children 18 months and younger 

Children AND adults must remove shoes before entering the infant area 

Older children are not permitted in infant zones for safety reasons 

  

Personal Belongings 

The Play Place is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items 

Please keep valuables with you at all times 

Memberships

Billing 

Memberships are billed monthly on a recurring basis 

Payments are automatically processed through your selected payment method 

  

Cancellation Policy 

Memberships may be canceled at any time 

Cancellation must be made before the next billing date to avoid being charged for the next cycle 

No refunds or partial refunds are provided for unused time 

  

No Proration 

Memberships are not prorated for partial months 

Access continues through the end of the current billing cycle 

  

Usage & Access 

Memberships are valid only for the child(ren) listed on the account 

Membership benefits may not be shared or transferred 

  

Guest Passes 

Guest passes must be used within the active billing cycle 

Unused guest passes do not roll over 

  

Sibling Add-Ons 

Additional children may be added for $20/month per child 

Add-ons follow the same billing cycle as the primary membership 

  

Supervision Requirement 

The Play Place is a parent-supervised facility 

Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times 

  

Closures 

The Play Place may close for holidays, maintenance, or private events 

No refunds or credits will be issued for temporary closures 

  

Policy Changes 

The Play Place reserves the right to update membership terms at any time 

Members will be notified of any significant changes 

Sickness Policy

When to Stay Home 

Please do not visit The Play Place if your child (or accompanying adult) has any of the following symptoms: 

Fever within the past 24 hours 

Vomiting or diarrhea within the past 24 hours 

Persistent cough or difficulty breathing 

Runny nose with thick yellow/green mucus 

Rash of unknown origin 

Any contagious illness (such as pink eye, strep throat, hand-foot-and-mouth, etc.) 

  

Return to Play Guidelines 

Children may return to play when: 

They have been symptom-free for at least 24 hours without medication 

They feel well enough to participate in normal play activities 

  

During Your Visit 

If a child becomes ill while at The Play Place, we ask that families exit promptly 

Please notify staff immediately of any accidents or illness so we can properly clean and sanitize the area 

  

Our Commitment 

We are committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment by: 

Regularly sanitizing toys and high-touch surfaces 

Performing routine cleaning throughout the day 

Completing a full facility cleaning at the end of each day 

  

Respect for Our Community 

We understand it can be disappointing to miss a visit, but these guidelines help protect all families—especially infants and young children.

Parties

Party Time & Setup 
All setup, celebration, and cleanup must take place within your scheduled time 
Please plan accordingly to ensure your group exits promptly at the end of your reservation 
We recommend arriving a few minutes early to maximize your party time 
 
Supervision 
Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times during the party 
 
Food & Drinks 
Outside food and drinks, including birthday cake, are welcome. 
Please keep food contained to designated areas and help us keep the space clean for all guests. 
 
Play Area Guidelines 
To keep our space safe and enjoyable for everyone: 
 
Only children 18mo and younger may be in the infant space. 
Shoes must be off in the infant area for both parent and baby. 
Shoes may be removed for the main play space but at least socks are required for both children and adults in play areas 
Please treat all equipment and toys with care. 
 
Guest Count 
Your booking includes space for your party group. (up to 12 children unless otherwise arranged) 
Please provide an estimated number of children attending so we can prepare accordingly. 
Additional children may be accommodated for an added fee 
 
Cancellations & Rescheduling 
We understand that plans can change. 
 
Parties may be rescheduled with at least 7 days’ notice 
Cancellations made within 7 days of the event will result in forfeiture of any deposit 
No-shows will not be refunded 
 
Respect for the Space 
We’ve created a calm, clean, and welcoming environment for families. 
We ask that all guests help us maintain this space by cleaning up after themselves and being respectful of others.
