The Play Place started with a simple idea: create the kind of place we wished existed for families in our community. A space where little ones could play, parents could recharge, and families could feel comfortable staying awhile.

What started as an idea slowly became a real space, built with a lot of planning, hard work, late nights, and love. In July 2026, we finally opened our doors in Junction City and welcomed our first families into The Play Place.

Since then, it has grown into so much more than an indoor play space. We've watched friendships form over cups of coffee, celebrated birthdays and milestones, welcomed local organizations and small businesses through our doors, and created classes, storytimes, special events, and opportunities for families to simply spend time together.

We're still at the beginning of our journey, and that's one of the most exciting parts. The Play Place will continue to grow and change alongside the families who fill it every day. We're incredibly grateful to the community that has embraced this little dream and helped turn it into something real.
